How can I remove the virus, if I can’t go on the internet with my computer?

use your friends computer, I’m using the library, put the file on a jump drive, then start your computer in safe mode w/ command prompt. run the remover from the prompt (i hope this works, i have to try it when i get home, i have the same freaking virus).

I got that virus today so i tried downloading that “remover utility” above but I cant seem to open it because it kept asking me to choose a program to open the file with. I dont know why I can’t open .exe applications. Please help!

You can restart your computer in safe mode (Keep pressing F8 when the computer is booting.. U will get options to start in normal mode or safe mode. Chose “Safe Mode with Networking”.)

You have to Ctrl Alt Del when the screen pops up with the fake lawsuit then click new task then type regedit …then you have to go in the registry and erase all instances of IQManager…ONLY edit registries if you know what you are doing but this WILL fix it

I have a new acer computer and i just got rid of the icpp vrus but i had to use contol+alt+del should take u to task manager then go to file then new task then type in contol panel. once ur in then deleat ap manager ( i didnt have any files under the name iq manager) once i did that i restarted my computer and it was gone. then i emptyed my recycle bin. if this works for u please comment

I tried the F8 thing but it didnt work ! I chose Safe Mode with networking but i still couldn’t get on the internet. My whole screen is blocked and i cant get the start menu to open. I cant go on the internet either even thought i tried clicking on the fake links. Something popped up about “Kill Pages” or “Wait”. Please helpp ?

All I see is the copyright notice from the virus. Can’t access let alone even see the desktop! Ctrl Alt Del won’t work either, please help!

first, use ctrl alt supp , and delete the virus entry, then you have to execute by yourself “explorer.exe” , then you’ll see you’re desktop.
after that, try to find a solution to entirely remove this shit!

Was able to remove parts of the virus but it’s still there! Any recommendations on which antivirus software to use? Been using AVG and Malwarebytes ….
