Hello.
Reader_s.exe is a symptom of extremely malicious spyware called Win32.Virut.56. I have just cured my computer from this infection. Here is how to do this: (1) download the newest version of Dr. Web Anti-Virus, (2) enter Windows safe mode without network [F8 during boot and choose from menu], (3) terminate all the programs, run Dr. Web and full scan ALL DRIVES and USB FLASH DISKS. Virut spreads enormously fast. I had over 1200 infections and all were healed. For a few days there were no symptoms of any recurring Virut infection. Still, to be sure, I later formatted C: and reinstalled my XP and all the programs from safe CDs, but that was just in case.
I read on many forums that there is no other way than to format all the partitions and that Dr. Web will not heal this infection. In my case it worked (firstly I tried Spyware Doctor, SuperAntiSpyware, Spybot, AdAware and Spyware Terminator, all of them failed to remove Virut). Maybe it will help you as well.

Just to make things clear, I am in no way connected with Dr. Web makers, I was just so happy I got rid of this nasty sh*t that I decided to spread the word.

I hope it do well, and can remove this annoying virus from my computer,because this thing make me nearly crazy.
I alway tried to stop it process then delete the file “reader_s.exe” by cmd but it all failed.
and now i don’t know can i do?

i’ve just used internet for a few days, so i don’t know much a bout virus. my pc would be freezed after only about 15 minutes and i don’t know what to do now, when i cheked task manager i saw reader_s.exe, service.exe, fun.exe, dc.exe, other.exe… i failed my exams because of them. moreover i lost a lot of my money to heal my pc. i really need help!
