Hello,
I just wanted to say that as soon as I downloaded freesoundrecorder, a free sound recorder program uploaded to cnet download.com, I immediately contracted the zwunzi virus. Fortunately my firewall caught it immediately.

i´ve got this zwunzi.dll at the same way, with this sound recorder … but now my computer is infected
i sit here for hours and it make me sick … who created this … *angry*

I cant remove it because it is making my laptop so slow i cant do anything.

I was also searching for a sound recorder when i contracted this virus. i have read a few (4 or 5) websites all saying it is harmful malware. I did not have any protective software installed at the time But when i went to remove programs,(To uninstall the sound recorder) i Noticed it there and deleted it. I had to run multiple searches throughout my computer to delete all of it. As far as i know it CANNOT be removed through Control Panel, Remove/Uninstall software. you have to do it manually.
It didn’t affect my browser somehow, Google chrome.

Hi Guys, I am using Windows 7 and got the same damn virus about an hour ago. I tried manual removal and it seems it works for now.
Start your PC in safe mode and go to regedit.
then search with F3 and just type zwunzi
delete all the related registries manually.
then uninstall the sound recorder thing immediately.
restart and take a rest and smoke stick right after it and keep praying

i think the sound recorder may be what nailed me too… I have tried several things…. It seems like to get rid of this you need to just follow a tutorial and do it by hand. Lots of deleting reg keys and such so far
